scFv encodes single-chain Fv of an anti-digoxin antibody fragment and was part of the vector as received. Intermediate plasmid pB30D-SalI was deleted in part of scFv and of cat, which encodes the chloramphenicol acetyltransferase; bla encodes the β-lactamase. pASK-MBD was constructed by Jonathan Caguiat (Song et al., 2004). The name pSD-MBD denotes surface-displayed MB.

Song, L., Caguiat, J., Li, Z., Shokes, J., Scott, R. A., Olliff, L. & Summers, A. O. (2004). Engineered single-chain, antiparallel, coiled coil mimics the MerR metal binding site. J Bacteriol 186, 1861-1868.
